The North Oakland Republican Club enthusiastically recognizes Pauline Abbo for the Member Spotlight. Pauline has worked tirelessly on behalf of NORC since becoming a member. She runs the registration table and book club at NORC's monthly meetings and has done an incredible job as Membership Director.

Pauline and her husband, Peter, hosted an unbelievable Christmas Party in December that was the talk of Republicans all over Southeast Michigan, and the hugely successful NORC Summer Extravaganza on July 22.

The NORC leadership has unaminously chosen Steve Perry to be recognized in our Member Spotlight. Steve serves as Treasurer of NORC in addition to working a full time job and being a husband and father. He spends countless hours keeping NORC's finances in order and does an incredible job of overseeing our Republican and patriotic merchandise sales. NORC Secretary Gregory Fogleman said, "Not to discount all of the time that other leaders have put into the club, but I'm not sure I have seen anyone put in more time and effort than Steve has since I have been around the last couple of years."

We would like to thank Steve for all that he does for NORC and the Republican party.

The North Oakland Republican Club Officers would like to show their appreciation to Jim Thienel, host of The Oakland Right, by putting him in the Member Spotlight. Jim is the best example of a grassroots activist in Oakland County, if not in the entire state of Michigan.
